LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
We are truly a learning center for all ages. We offer infant and toddler care, full and part-time pre-school, pre-kindergarten, and before and after school care. The Academy of Fine Arts & Early Childhood Learning provides excellent education in a warm, nurturing environment. In their first few years, children learn more and at a much faster pace than at any other time in their lives. The goal of the Academy is to establish the foundation for your child's lifetime of learning.
Our professional teachers strive to develop your child's confidence, self-discipline, social and academic skills through a variety of exciting, hands-on activities. Children learn best by doing! Around every corner the Academy provides something special for your child to experience.
In addition to our educational curriculum, we offer creative dance, foreign languages, science, computers, music, art, creative dramatics and many other things all at no additional cost to you.
The program offered at our south Columbia location is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, a widely recognized sign of excellence in early education. Our east Columbia location is currently pursuing this same accreditation
THE ACADEMY IS DESIGNED TO SERVE ACTIVE FAMILIES LIKE YOURS
If you are balancing work, social, or other commitments with your child's needs for quality care and learning, the Academy of Fine Arts & Early Childhood Learning is for you. It is our goal to provide services that enable you to spend more time with your child.
We have contracted with a local dry cleaner. Simply drop off your laundry with us and we do the rest. One additional stop you can avoid is mailing your letters. We will gladly stamp and send them for you.
OUR DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN
We believe family involvement is an integral aspect of our program. Conferences are scheduled twice yearly, or you may request one at any time. Parents and Grandparents are welcome and encouraged to visit. Drop by any time to visit or have lunch with your child.
Planned each year are a variety of social events geared for the entire family to enjoy. Some of these activities include our Medieval Festival, Summer Picnic, Graduation (Pre-Kindergarten), MU Homecoming parade, BOO Blast, Thanksgiving Feast, and Nutcracker production.
